ENGINEERING IN THE PHILIPPINES

ARTICLE I – TITLE, STATEMENT OF POLICY,
DEFINITION OF TERMS

• In this article it imposes the state policies, definition of terms, it

discuss about the policies if posesses a course of Mechanical
Engineering this will guide as a Mechanical Engineering
practioner of what he/she limit to do as an Mechanical Engineer,
the terms that written in this article are those that related to the
Mechanical Engineering works, materials, etc.
ARTICLE II – BOARD OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

• This article discuss about the officials who are member of the
association, this allows the executory of the policies and
conditions that will implement under the PSME Code. It also
discuss the qualification to be a member of the boards on how to
be elected and become a official of the board. There are certain
guidelines that imposes and ensure the functions as a member of
the board.
ARTICLE III - EXAMINATION, REGISTRATION AND
LICENSE
• In this article discuss the qualification, requirements and policy
on how you able to be recognize as Mechanical Engineering
practioner specifically licensure examination. There are 3
Mechanical Engineering practices, (i) Professional Mechanical
Engineer, (ii) Mechanical Engineer, (iii) Certified Plant Mechanic,
this are the career that you might imposes if you are practicing
Mechanical Engineering course. The guidelines state on this
article are to ensure that you correctly follow the guidelines.
ARTICLE IV - PRACTICE OF THE
PROFESSION
• This article implicates the idea on how are the Mechanical
Engineers job, it discuss all the function and the scopes of the job
as a practioneer of this course. It states the speficiation and the
standards on how handling the job from different industrial
plant. In other scope on the job like in business sector it has also
a specific job and carries a license to operate certain meausures
involving the standard specifications of the machineries that
might used in production plants and other manufacturing related
business.
ARTICLE V - PENAL AND CONCLUDING
PROVISIONS
• This article discuss sanctions regarding the incorrect practices of
this profession. The statement indicates the penalties and cases
that might serve for those who are not abide the lawful act of this
provisions. The technicalities of being mishandle or even use this
profession for illegal activities or purpose the provision will give
you knowledge of what is the weight of the sanctions, i. e. you’re
license will be canceled or the associsation disvowed liability of
you’re illegal action pertaining to the provisions that imposes on
this law. The policy of terms and implenting rules and regulation
are on this article.
