OBJECTIVE
 Design andcontrol of RoboDroid (Robotic Arm) using Android
Smartphone

INTRODUCTION
 ‘RoboDroid’ = Robotics + Android.
 A mechanical arm with movable base controlled by an application
through Android Smartphone via HC-06 and programmed with
Arduino Uno.
 RoboDroid can function similar to the human arm as specified by the
controller or can be used for the automation purposes.

 Perform robotic functions from outside the hazardous chambers looking through a
 glass door.

  Prototype of Bomb Disposal Bot.

FUTURE IMPLEMENTATION
 With advanced tools and high capacity equipment RoboDroid can perform
heavier tasks.
 The RoboDroid can be interfaced with the Neurosky (mind interfacing
device)

CONCLUSION

 This paper has undergone with the basic design and control of RoboDroid using a
mobile application.
 RoboDroid is designed very efficiently and it is capable to lift the objects of
medium weight accurately and precisely.
