SUBJECT QUESTIONS

• Are used to ask who did an action. They are


called SUBJECT QUESTIONS because the
question word is the subject of the main verb.
• The answer to the question is the SUBJECT.
How to form Subject questions?
• WHO and WHAT are the most common
pronouns used in subject questions
• Do not use AUXILIARY VERB (Do – Does –
Did)
• Do not change the Word order.

OBJECT QUESTIONS
• Are used to ask who received an action. The
question Word is the OBJECT of the question.
• The answer to the question is the OBJECT.
How to form Object questions?
• We can use different questions words: WHAT
– WHERE – WHO - WHEN.
• We use AUXILIARY which tells us wheter if
the question is talking abput the past or the
present.
• We change the Word order.
