 1D Bar Element - Problem

The three bar assemblage is shown below. A force of 2500 N is applied in the X
direction at node 2. The length of each element is 750 mm. Take young’s
modulus E = 4 X 105 N/mm2 and A = 600 mm2 for element 1 & 2. Take young’s
modulus E = 2 X 105 N/mm2 and A = 1200 mm2 for element 3. Nodes 1& 4 are
fixed.
Calculate:
(i) Displacement at nodes 2 & 3
(ii) Element Stiffness Matrix, [K]
(iii) Reaction at nodes 1 & 4
