FINAL EXAMINATION

TOMAGAN, BEVERLY KATE

BSE- 3A SOCIAL STUDIES
1. A description of the online activity, assessment
or resource including specifics about what the
students and the teacher would have to do. For
example, how would the student interact with it?
What role does the teacher play in facilitating the
technology? You can do this in writing or you can
draw diagrams, create a slide show, an interactive
flowchart, or use open technologies to build your
working example. Make sure whatever method you
use, that it can be accessed by your colleagues who
will peer-assess your work (500 words if you
choose the written submission format or 5 minute
recording if you choose to submit a video format).
Yes!

You can guess the pictures shown.
Each level displays pictures linked
by a word. The player's aim is to
work out what the word is, from a
letter line given below the pictures.
You can use hint to know the
meaning of the word.
The students will stand up to
answer the questions. Then the
first who will stand up have a
given a chance to answer. The
students will use a hint if he or
she didn’t know the answer.
Because when they use hint the
teacher show the meaning of the
words.

2. A description of how
the online activity,
assessment, or resource is
aligned with the rest of
the curriculum in your
course.
Values Clarification is a believing of values that you
have. But there’s have a clarification of that.
It will aligned to the online assessment in the school.
Because it may help them to know if the students learned
or having a knowledge to the activity that will create. For
example you will have a new topic for today. And as a
teacher you need to have an assessment to know if the
students have a stock knowledge before you tackle the
lesson. Then you can give another assessment after the
topic. Like to create a reflection. Because in values
clarification According to Raths, Harmin and Simon
(1966,1978) “The values clarification approach suggest
teachers prompt the students to think about his/her
feelings, asking about their source and their
consequences.” to know the feeling of the students while
learning a new topic.
3. A discussion of the
strategies you have chose
to engage your students
with the online
assessment, activity, or
resource with supporting
evidence.
I choose this activity to make to know if the
students have a prior knowledge about the
topic. And to enhance the critical thinking to
solve the problem. To know the reasoning of
the students even their beliefs. And this is the
role of the
Valuing Models of Teaching of Rath’s Value
Clarification. To clarify the belief even the
values you have. Because this model is let
the students clarify the values and beliefs
they have. And to have a respect to the other
students that different beliefs.
4. A plan for evaluating
your online assessment,
activity, or resource to
determine its
effectiveness.
By the use of rubrics you can evaluate the students
assessment. Because it tell if your students meet the
goals you set. Rubrics is the effective way of evaluate
the students response. Because in this model of Value
Clarification you will not having a right and wrong
answers. Because it is based on your beliefs. But we
need rubrics to clarify the settings standard that they
need to meet.
