or more pages) more detailed synopsis.
 It includes a summary of: educational and
academic backgrounds, teaching and
research experience, publications,
presentations, awards, honors, affiliations
and other details.
Resume
 A resume is a one or two page summary
of your skills, experience and education.
 A goal of resume writing is to be brief and
concise, at best,
 the resume reader will spend a minute for
reviewing your qualifications.
When to Use a Curriculum Vitae

 In US: apply for academic, education,


scientific or research positions, fellowships
or grants.
 In Europe, the Middle East, Africa, or Asia:

overview of your accomplishments, rather than a
full length resume.
