Career
 Shah graduated with Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Wilson
College, Mumbai and briefly pursued MBA from SVKM's NMIMS before
dropping out. He started his career as a junior programmer at a business
process outsourcing start-up. Shah's first start-up venture was a company
named Paisa back, which provided cash-back promotions for organized
retailers.
 Kunal made a cameo appearance in the 4th episode of TVF Pitchers where he
played the role of a start-up event judge. Shah founded Free Charge in 2010,
along with Sandeep Tandon, seeing the potential of online recharging in a
growing market. In April 2015, Free Charge was acquired by Snapdeal for an
estimated amount of $400 million. Shah was appointed as the new CEO of the
company. Kunal also led the acquisitions of Wishberg and Preburn in 2014.
Shah is an active angel investor in a number of startups such
as Innov8, Spinny, Zepo, Unacademy, and Bharat Bazaar.

 Free Charge is a private company of Indian origin. It is
an e-commerce portal and is associated with internet
industry. The company was launched in the year 2010
in the month of August by its founders Sandeep
Tandon and Kunal Shah. In the year 2015, April
8th Free Charge was acquired by another web portal
and now it is a part of its parent company Snap deal.
Free Charge has targeted internet users and people of
age-group 18-34 as its potential customers. 
Capital Investment and Their Turnover
 Hisfirst start-up, a cell phone bill recharging company called Free
charge, sold for $400 million (2800 crore) in 2015. The sale was
the biggest acquisition India's internet industry had seen at the
time, propelling him to stardom in the start-up scene. His turnover
in 2021 is $809 million(5985 crore). Kunal Shah is one of the
finest and most successful Entrepreneurs from India.
