long span roofing materials and Roll Up Door Shutter. 
 Founded May 02, 1989.
 Line of business – Distributor of various construction
related products such as ACI Insulation, Primaflex
Cemboards, Gypsum Boards, Universal Alum. Foil
Barriers and Pre-painted Roofing materials.
 1994 onwards, Dwightsteel Building Systems Inc has
set up its own facilities.
 Turned 31 years in May 2020.

E. PROJECT FUNDING
PROJECT FUNDING:
• Generally, the fund of this project is from the
Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU).
Under the supervision of the Provincial
Engineering Office (PEO).
• In line with the Provincial Government’s initiative
to expand facilities for the Covid-19 related
incidents in La Union.
• PGLU Project is awarded to JD Madrid
Construction (JDMC).
• Then JDMC contracted Dwightsteel.

ROLES OF THE PROJECT MANAGER
(Regional Manager):
• Ensure that details of the project are well-checked and
conformed with the customer.
• Ensure that all internal documentations are done properly.
• Ensure that funds involved are all cleared and verified.
• Ensure consistent communications on both internal and
external.
• Ensure that the timeline of the project is within the
budgeted finishing date to create customer satisfaction by
constant monitoring of its progress.
• Ensure the quality of the processes involved to eliminate
risks of doing the wrong things.
• Ensure the quality of the project from end to end.
G. FORMS OF COMMUNICATION
FORMS OF COMMUNICATION:
• Dwightsteel uses the MicroWin Software as its
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) as a business.
• Enterprise resource planning (ERP) is a process used by companies to
manage and integrate the important parts of their businesses. Many ERP
software applications are important to companies because they help them
implement resource planning by integrating all of the processes needed to
run their companies with a single system. An ERP software system can also
integrate planning, purchasing inventory, sales, marketing, finance, human
resources, and more.
• MicroWin Software utilization is comparable to SAP and Oracle.
• All Business-Related and Pertinent details or documents are all
uploaded in the MicroWin Software being the means of
communication across all Dwightsteel facilities nationwide.

H. QUALITY ASSURANCE
QUALITY ASSURANCE:
• Per ISO Standard, production of Prepainted
Galvalume Iron (PPGI) Roofing must strictly follow
the Quality Management System / process written
for it.
QUALITY ASSURANCE:
Before dispatch from the manufacturing plant, the Quality Assurance Officer checks
on the following:

• Completeness of Panels produced.

• Completeness of Bended Materials produced.
• Completeness of Hardware Accessories. (e.g. tekscrews, blind rivets, silicon
sealants and touch-up paints.)
• Excellent Surface Quality of all Panels and Bended Materials.
• No Dents
• No Rusts
• No Scratches
• No Blisters
• No unusual color mixed
• Correct micrometer thicknesses of Panels and Bended Materials.
• Must conform to Philippine National Standards.
• Correct lengths and widths produced for both Panels and Bended Accessories.
QUALITY ASSURANCE:
Upon delivery on site, the Regional Manager / Sales Engineer must check on the
following:

• Careful unloading of materials from the delivering truck.

• Right number of manpower to do the task.
• Use of Personal Protective Equipment, especially gloves.
• Orientation on proper handling of the materials.
• Correct site or surface quality where these unloaded materials should be
placed.
• Must be flat.
• Area where no persons will not walk and step on the materials.
• Preferably a site that has a shed to avoid rain exposure.
• If exposed, panels must be piled in an inclined position so the rain water can
flow via gravity.
