There is a saying that states “ We can not teach what we don’t have “ It is
true and a common knowledge that one of the responsibilities of a Master
teachers is to provide technical assistance to his/her members. Master teachers
have gained knowledge and meaningful experiences in the latest trends (LDM2)
of teaching and learning process to upgrade and improve our abilities and skills.
Weekly Home Learning Plan was introduced to teachers and it was discussed
properly to them during LAC Session .It is very important for the teachers to know
the essence of WHLP for it will aid them as well as parents in keeping track of
the day to day in school and off school general learning process as they
implement the most suitable and feasible alternative learning modality based on
the context of the school. How to write and prepare the WHLP was also discussed
step by step. In relation to preparation of worksheets for pupils, teachers
underwent workshops on how to develop quality and more engaging materials. It
was done by subject areas . Presenter / speakers are Subject coordinator and
Master teachers who has prior knowledge and have attended seminars on how to
prepare or develop modules / worksheets.

All of the teachers under my supervision had completed their Virtual Class
Observations, and I gave them all great marks because they were able to
conduct their lessons flawlessly. Before their Virtual Class Observation, I
reviewed their lesson plans, and afterward, I met with them for post-
observation conferences to provide input on the teaching-learning process.
On their second Virtual Class Observation, they showed improvement in both
the content and execution of their lesson plans.
They used successful teaching strategies such as Direct Reading
Thinking Activity (DRTA), Explicit Teaching, and several Google applications,
videos, and diagrams in their Subject Plans to convey the lesson clearly and
interactively.

Worksheets, Activity Sheets and Modules are the learning resources of
teachers in distance learning particularly to Modular Learning. These
learning resources are teacher-made and we very much appreciated the
effort exerted by the teachers especially my colleagues. To help them finish
the said learning resources, gave advice on how to select the activities that
should be present on the materials, how to organize the content, and how to
develop the materials following the Division format.
I also validated their activity sheets before they distribute it to our
parents. I validated the learning resources in terms of objectives, content,
clarity, language and style, presentation, activity, usefulness evaluation.
I also gave advices to teachers on how to develop or organize the
content of their Lesson Plans. I just noticed that they have different terms
used on the parts of the Lesson Plan but the activities and parts of LP are
arranged chronologically and aligned to the Learning Objectives which is
very important in a Lesson Plan.

As a teacher, I have a classroom management style which
is very helpful for an effective teaching and learning process.
One of the things that I considered as part of my classroom
management is successful lesson plan used in my class. I
consider my lesson plan as successful when I achieved all the
learning objectives I have set or indicated on my LP, if my
pupils enjoyed participating in the discussion and if my pupils
showed mastery on the lesson that I have discussed.
In lesson planning, I see to it that the learning objectives
are clear and attainable. I also check if the parts of my LP are
arranged in chronological order and I employ activities which
are relevant to my subject matter and suited to the level of my
pupils.
Of course, a very good Lesson Plan will be useless if
could not execute it very well. We could say that a Lesson
Plan was effectively delivered if pupils learned from it.

Engaging with my colleagues play a large part in solving matters

effectively. We, Fairview Elementary School, are sharing viewpoints,
ideas, even problems, and working together towards solutions.
As teacher, I believe that engagement with my colleagues
improves teaching practice and learning and it also develops mutual
respect. The success of every activities, programs and projects of our
school is a collaborative effort of all teachers, School Principal, Public
Schools District Supervisor and the community.
For these reasons, I eagerly attended to Virtual In-Service
Trainings, Gender and Development and LAC Sessions.

Communication and interpersonal skills developed between teachers,
parents and community can allow interactions that benefit pupils’
education. Developing these relationships mean teachers are more
connected in both profession and with pupils. For theses reasons, in every
school year I established partnerships between me and my parents so that
I could give a constant and updated feedback on their child’s progress and
even problems encountered by the parents, pupils and even me as a their
teacher.
Communicating with my parents is helpful to both of us particularly in
solving problems and most especially in improving the academic
performance of my pupils.
I constantly reminding my parents to patiently guide and do the follow-
up teaching to their child at home. I inform them who were not able to take
the Summative Tests that I have posted on our Group Chat. I also instruct
them to watch video lessons particularly to Modular Learning for additional
learnings.
I checked and returned the outputs of my pupils on time for them to
know and aware of their strengths and weaknesses.
For the Modular, I see to it that all my parents/pupils were given the
modules and worksheets in every Quarter to facilitate learning at home.

Reflective Summary
In the midst of pandemic, strengthening the value of education is one of the major
challenges we encountered. As we continue to face the issues brought about, our
department is considering struggles in making effective plans that will best suit our time
today. The Department of Education (DepEd) produces different modalities of deliveries,
learning materials and trainings/webinars for teachers. With these, learning will always be
present to the development of learners.
One of the highlighted activities for us teachers in this season is the Learning Delivery
Modalities Course 2 (LDM2). Improvement on the readiness of teachers and school leaders
for the implementation and management of learning delivery modalities is the main
objective of this course. Apart from that, effective and efficient implementation is highly
observed. This guarantee a better result for the development of the students.

Reflective Summary
Personally, these changes in the previous curriculum are unexpected. By
considering the situations we have at this moment, new normal should be embraced.
Of course, in every change we experienced, adjustment period is the toughest part.
We are still on the process of learning and adopting the new normal. But, we always
considering the pros and cons of the situation.
Actually, the laborious works tasked for us teachers and the deadlines on the
accomplishments add pressure in this new normal education are some of the
challenges we have encountered. But these are all personal issues that a normal
teacher might feel along the process.
However, considering the objectives and goals of LDM2 made me realized that
this is well-designed to produce better alternatives in reaching out our students. I
came up with this realization after completing this course as LAC Leader.
M O V ‘ S
Reflective Summary
LDM 2 course is one of the greatest experience and knowledge
that I ever had. LDM aided me in managing the modalities' teaching-
learning process. This provided chances for people to work together
to create effective and efficient learning results. This made me a
better leader who can deal with the challenges that arises everyday
Finally, we have contributed to the department's principal goal of
tackling the quality challenge in basic education, "SAMA-SAMA SA
PAG SULONG NG EDUKALIDAD."
