Kite & Surf Centre at Amanpulo
Harness the wind
With clear blue, warm waters, and a bottom of predominantly
white sand and occasional sea grass, our lagoon resembles a
natural swimming pool, making it easy to walk around and
learn how to kite. 
Strategically located to catch the windsport-ideal amihan
(northeasterly wind) from December to March, the island
also benefits from the venturi caused by larger neighbouring
islands. 

High tech instruction 

Guests will be linked to their instructor via radio headsets for
speed, safety and ease of learning while on the water.
Lessons can also include video footage for reviewing the
session. 

Instructors 
In collaboration with Naish, some of the world’s most
accomplished kitesurfers gather on Pamalican Island, sharing
their expertise and tales of the high seas
with Amanpulo guests. Lessons are comprehensive and
personally tailored to skill levels.

The changing hues of
Pamalican
Explore the changing hues of the
waters surrounding Pamalican Island from
the pontoon boat as the sun sets. Moonlight
and starlight cruises are also available,
offering a different perspective on the
island; return to a private barbecue and
bonfire at your Casita.

Admire the views flying over the mountain ranges
and turquoise seas on the way to Pamalican Island.
Located over 360 kilometres south of Manila, the
island is reached exclusively by flights that land on
its own airstrip. The 70-minute private scheduled
flights take off from the Amanpulo Lounge hangar
at Manila airport, accommodating up to 15 guests.
