What is an Inclusive Workplace?
1. An inclusive workplace has a welcoming workplace culture
wherein everyone is treated with respect and dignity, and
everyone feels valued.
Don’t ASK.
Let them come OUT
On their own.
Regardless if they show any behavior. Let them have the free will.
If you already established friendship with one another, you can ask corteously.
Their gender has nothing to do with their work.
How to properly address an LGBT co-
employee?
ASK.
Do not Call them “Bakla”,
“Tomboy”, “Girl” etc,
Without their consent.
Use Right Gender Pronouns.
Ask an LGBT person how you can address them. Never assume we are comfortable
being called as such.
What bathroom can the LGBT people
use?
Our Guiding
Principle
If you’re in doubt, ask
yourself whether the
question relates to
essential functions of
the job. If it doesn’t,
don’t ask the question.
