everyone feels valued.

2. The workplace is representative of the diverse members of the

local community.

3. There are policies in place concerning equality and human

rights, working conditions, dignity at work, employee welfare,
and fair recruitment and procurement policies.

How to ask a co-employee if they are
LGBT?

Don’t ASK.
Let them come OUT
On their own. 
Regardless if they show any behavior. Let them have the free will.
If you already established friendship with one another, you can ask corteously.
Their gender has nothing to do with their work.
How to properly address an LGBT co-
employee?
ASK.
Do not Call them “Bakla”,
“Tomboy”, “Girl” etc,
Without their consent.
Use Right Gender Pronouns.
Ask an LGBT person how you can address them. Never assume we are comfortable
being called as such.
What bathroom can the LGBT people
use?

“Ideally” LGBT people

Should be allowed to use
the restroom based on
Their Gender Identity

• Anti-Discrimination Policies
Due to the absence of a National Anti-Discrimination Law, each
company can still implement their own Anti-Discrimination
Policies.

“All employees share in the responsibility for fulfilling HP's

commitment to equal employment opportunity. To that end, HP's Global
Non-Discrimination Policy provides that we do not discriminate
against any employee or applicant for employment because of gender,
color, race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, age, marital status,
sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, disability,
pregnancy, covered veteran status, protected genetic information and
political affiliation.”
