Introduction
• The purpose of the project is designing and expanding Mamma Mia’s
Bakery as well as system installation.
• Through the system, management of the bakery will be eased since almost
everything will be done electronically.
• Based the overall objective of the project, that is designing a new
Information System, the implementation will ensure future scalability.
Project Objectives

• The following are the deliverables of the project:


• Implementation of a computerized payment system.
• Implementation of a computerized vendor system.
• Implementation of a computerized inventory system.
• Implementation of online ordering system
Assumptions
• There is already available network connection in the area to make the
installation of the system simpler.
• The workers as well as the customers are willing to change i.e. they are
not resistant to the change brought about by the system.
• That mamma mia’s has set aside money to buy the system.
Scope

• Below are the major tasks that will be performed by the project quality
team;
• the project quality team will be involved in creating work breakdown
structure,
• performing testing, training as well as implementation of the entire project,
• collecting information concerning customer requirements that needs to be
highlighted and solved during system implementation among others
Benefits of the project

• Customers will reduce time wastage i.e. during payment


• Increase the comfort ability of customers as there will be enough space for
having fun
• Make work easier since everything will be computerized
Project and team stakeholders
• Project manager: the main work of the project manager is to manage the entire
project, ensuring the project is delivered according to the scope, and carry daily
activities for the better of the project.
• Sponsor: generally the work of a project sponsor is to provide the general
direction of the project as well as accountability.
• Team members: works aiming toward achieving the deliverables of the project.
• Customer: this is the person or department or organization that request for the
deliverable.
Technical and PM approach

• The method of development that will be used is the iteration method.


• In this approach, the system will be developed within the time limit since
the approach allows the next phase to be started while still the previous on
is in progress.
Conclusion
• Customer records, inventory as well as supplier communication will be
very simple.
• It will be so easy to determine the profit or loss made aver a certain period
of time.
• Since the project deals with installation of the new system, the project
quality team will perform different tasks in different stages to ensure that
all the needs are met.
