A balance is needed – we do need to study and

prepare ourselves, but we also need to recognize
and receive the power of the Holy Spirit.

When the apostles received the power of the Holy Spirit,

they entered another dimension and He supported all of
the evangelistic work they did.

The Early church decided to send out missionaries and, after praying
and fasting, they appointed Barnabas and Saul, commending them to
the will of God. They had to face demonic powers, but the powers of
darkness were exposed because of the anointing of God in our lives.
They were able to clearly discern the works of the adversary, and
thereby neutralize and break them in the name of Jesus.

When we receive the Power of God in our lives, we

become effective witness of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We often do not pray with all our hearts when we are

praying for the lost. The Lord taught me that I should
not only pray, but that I should use spiritual warfare to
fight for the salvation of others until they are moved
from the powers of darkness into His glorious kingdom

CONCLUSION
Whoever desires to do the work of God must have the support of the
church and the anointing of God on their lives so that they can face any
opposition that comes their way. When we received the power of God,
not only will we be able to discern demonic forces, but we will also
become effective witnesses of Christ Jesus.
