 An Entrepreneur:
• An entrepreneur is a person of very high aptitute who pioneers changes,
possessing characteristics found in only a very small fraction of the
population.
• Entrepreneur means “to undertake”.
• “A good entrepreneur is one who is capable of inspiring confidence in
people, and has the ability to motivate them to work with him in
fulfilling the economic goals set by him.”

Entrepreneur:
• Entrepreneurs need to be capable of both having original ideas and
seeing them through. They have the stamina and determination to kick-
start a project, stick with it, and get it finished. They are also:
• Stubborn and resilient enough to cope with setbacks and handle stress
• Willing to take calculated risks
• Problem solvers who can spot the opportunity in a challenge

• An ability and capacity acquired through
deliberate, systematic, and sustained effort to
smoothly and
adaptively carryout complex activities or job
functions inv olving ideas, things, and/or
people.

• The development of entrepreneur skills must precede transfer of technology if we do not desire
to keep such technologies and equipment serving such technology idle. One has also to realize
that technologies are developing very fast and the skills are to match with this dynamic growth.
