 INTRODUCTION
• The project Hospital Management system includes registration of patients, log in as registered patient
of the hospital and after successful login the user is automatically directed to the Home page , storing
their details into the database of the system . The software has the facility to give a unique id and auto
increment for every patient and stores the details of every patient and the staff automatically. It
includes a live chatbot to answer the query of user . The chatbot interacts with the user and it is user
friendly that quickly answers the query . Also User can get the updated number of beds , oxygen beds
and the number of ventilators available in the hospital. The user can search for the Facilities and the
services that are being provided in the hospital .Also they can virtually know the best teams of the
doctors , management team , staff from the faculty section of the webpage and can book the
appointment from the desired doctor . The interface is very user-friendly and transparent as the users
review page section and the rate us section and the feedback section is also in our management
website .
OBJECTIVE
• Objective of our project is to make a source of ease in the era of the situation like
the covid-19 pandemic where everything has become virtual so that the user can
approach the hospital easily and can get the details online . Also it would be
helpful for the hospital to manage their records as in the past these records were
kept manually by some receptionists in the registers which were difficult to
manage.
 SOFTWARE USED

• Visual Studio Code : Visual Studio Code is a lightweight but powerful source code editor which
runs on your laptop and is available for windows , macOS and Linux . It comes with built –in
support for java Script , Type Script and Node.js and has a rich system of extensions for other
languages (such as C++,C#,JAVA ,Python ,PHP , Go ) and runtimes (such as .NET and unity).
SOFTWARE USED
• XAMPP is one of the widely used cross-platform web servers, which
helps developers to create and test their programs on a local webserver. It
was developed by the Apache Friends, and its native source code can be
revised or modified by the audience. It consists of Apache HTTP Server,
MariaDB, and interpreter for the different programming languages like
PHP and Perl. 
LANGUAGES
• HTML : HTML stands for Hypertext Markup Language HTML is the language in which
most of the websites are written and is used to create pages and make them functional.
• CSS: CSS stands for cascading style sheet . It is a style sheet language used for
describing the look and formatting of a document written in a markup language.
• SQL (Structured Query Language) : is used to perform operations on the records
stored in the database, such as updating records, inserting records, deleting records,
creating and modifying database tables, views, etc. SQL is not a database system, but it
is a query language.
LANGUAGES
• Pl/SQL : PL/SQL is a combination of SQL along with the procedural features of programming
languages. It was developed by Oracle Corporation in the early 90's to enhance the capabilities of SQL.
PL/SQL is one of three key programming languages embedded in the Oracle Database, along with SQL
itself and Java.

• Php : PHP is a server scripting language, and a powerful tool for making dynamic and interactive
Web pages. PHP is a widely-used, free, and efficient alternative to competitors such as Microsoft's ASP.

• JavaScript : It is a lightweight, interpreted programming language. It is designed for creating network-

centric applications. It is complimentary to and integrated with Java. JavaScript is very easy to implement
because it is integrated with HTML. It is open and cross-platform.
