“MARKETING PLAN”

BARANGAY BASKETBALL EVENT

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Sporting Activity particularly the game Basketball develops the competence, confidence, and
Sportsmanship. This physical activity become a central part of their lives to maintain their overall well-
being. This event is celebrated annually that aims to show up their individual skills and capabilities in
playing Basketball. The theme of the sporting event is "SIKANAN AT GELINGAN NING
KAYNAKAN" that will be held in Barangay Cutcut, Angeles City. The objective of the event is to serve
the community by providing great service with satisfaction, to promote sportsmanship in the competition
and lastly to improve physical fitness among participants in the community.

 For the Market Analysis our target participants should be male at least age 16 to 21 years old and
consists of 7 to 10 members must have skilled in playing Basketball that lived at Barangay Cutcut,
Angeles City. The Competitor Analysis is Inter-Purok Community Basketball, The tournament has limited
participants every team consists 7 players, Our strengths are the prices in our event. The uniqueness of our
event is the competition price is lesser, but we have the raffle draw that will benefit for the audience such
as bike and rice. For Current Marketing Position our advocacy is Community Basketball that will held in
Basketball Court of Barangay Cutcut and as event organizer of “SIKANAN AT GELINGAN NING
KAYNAKAN” for the Community Basketball we ensure that the event will be organize and successful.
Of course, we need to determine what are the Strength and Weaknesses in our event to able to comply if it
is reliable.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
 For Marketing Strategies, we use the social media to spread information about the event of "Community Basketball"
which the athletes will be encouraged to join the Basketball Game, Creating Printed Materials such as Posters and
Brochures will use for promoting and will distribute to people in Barangay that has information details of What is the event
for, when will the event and the Link for Pre-Registration. Next is for the Metrics and KPIs that we include the Ticket Sales
for P50.00 each and the Total numbers of Tickets is 1000, it will cost also for consolation prizes and raffle draw. Next KPIs
is Event Check In that monitoring the participants. Next KPIs the Customer Loyalty we will evaluate and get the feedback
of participants, Lastly KPIs for our Revenue and Expenses. For the Budget we have the Project Revenue has total of
(P60,000) and the Project Expenses has (P5,000) for foods including the Sponsors, Awards and Certificates(P10,000), For
Tarpaulins (P1,000), Posters and Flyers (P1,000), Basketball Equipments is (P3,000) and Lastly Creation of Jerseys
(P16,000) and for the Raffle Prizes (P8,500) a total for the Expenses (P55,000). Our Project Profit will be (P5,000).

 The Action and Task First we will construct a background information the Community Basketball in Barangay Cutcut,
Second, we will develop a partnership to the Barangay Officials, third, we will set a meeting that will start discussing the
Agenda and Objectives, Lastly the Implementation of Marketing Campaign. For our Timeline we create a Gantt chart that
provide and guide for planning and scheduling for checking the tasks in progress, what are the tasks pending in the event,
with this we can make sure and the completion of the tasks. We will make the event successful, marketable, and feasible
with all the participant in the community will have an impact to them and will cherish the events. We recommend that this
Activity Community Basketball give a benefit to our participants that helps to sustain and maintain their physical activities.
Thank you to all participants, sponsors, Barangay Councils of Cutcut, and Barangay Captain behind this event. Without
those people, this event is impossible to happened.
GOALS OR
OBJECTIVES
The purpose of this event is to show up the skills and
abilities of people around the community by engaging in
physical activity which is Basketball League. With the
theme “SIKANAN AT GELINGAN NING KAYNAKAN”
it is celebrated yearly in Barangay Cutcut Angeles City to
promote physical well-being. This event insured those
resources were provided including the sound systems,
trophies and other materials needed in the event.

 to serve the community by providing great service with

The participants should be:

1. Aging from 16 to 21 years old.

Inter-Purok Community Basketball in Barangay Pampang
The Inter-Purok Community Basketball in Barangay Pampang. The said tournament has a limited
Participants. Every team has 7 players.

 2nd runner up 2000
Uniqueness of our event:
  Our competition price is lesser that them, but we have raffle draw that will benefit the
audience such as;
1. Quality Mountain Bike
- to promote physical well activity.
2. Sack of rice
- to help them to sustain their basic needs.
3. Consolation price worth 500 pesos.

POSITION
We are advocating Community Basketball that will held in Barangay Cutcut to promote
physical well-being for the participants such is male aging from 16 to 21 years old and
living in the same community.
 
And as event organizer of “SIKANAN AT GELINGAN NING KAYNAKAN” for the
Community Basketball we ensure that the event will successfully promote the physical
well-being of the participants and also, they gain prizes for their effort and performance.

One of our strategy is to use Social Media, we organizer is the one who create and to post
an information about the event in our personal Facebook account and also in Facebook
page in aBrangay Cutcut to promote and spread the information about "Community
Basketball" to encourage athletes in Barangay in Cutcut to join the Basketball game.

For our strategy we also created a printed materials such as poster and brochure
that indicating the Background, Information details, Theme of the Event, Date,
Venue, and the Link of the pre-registration on the event that can be distribute to
the people in Barangay Cutcut. 

Weaknesses: Our prices in our Competition is lesser than the competitors.


 
Strengths: We are promoting physical fitness, enjoyment, and fun to the
community of Barangay Cutcut and we give consolation prizes to the losing
teams.

For Our KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) Our first
KPI's is Ticket Sales which we budget for P50.00 for
tickets and the total number of tickets is 1000 then it will
cost for championship prize, raffle draw and consolation
prize such as quality mountain bike, 1 sack of rice and

METRICS consolation price. Next the Event Check In which we


will monitor the event participants through registration.
Next is for Customer Loyalty which we are going to
AND KPI’S have the customer evaluation and we will get the
feedback of our participants about their experiences in
the program. Lastly for our Revenue and Expenses we
need to check how much will need budget for the event
what we gain profit on the event.
