What will be the set-up of classes
in the new normal?
1. Lourdes College of Bulacan will be using Blended
Learning, a combination of modular, online and face-
to-face (until ordered by the President) for this School
Year 2021-2022.

2. Face-to-face learning is prohibited and the school will

not practice it until the government permitted.

Our major highlight for this School
Year 2021 – 2022 will be our
upgraded Learning Commons. This
Learning Commons have a better
functionality, navigation, design and
a much user-friendly portal both for
the students, parents and teachers.

Learning Commons

The Learning Commons will also have its log-in section
wherein all users will use their registered USERNAME and
PASSWORD.
Teacher and students will have their own separate
USERNAME and PASSWORD for their individual accounts.
The school could register their students using the
students LRN or any username approved by the school.
What sets our portal apart from our competitors is the
texting function.
For the students:
The moment they login, the portal will be sending a
message towards the parents that they child already
access the portal. Another good thing is that, every click
of the student in the portal, we can include a text update
that will send a notifications to parents once the student
viw, download and upload an activity. This feature will be
upon the discretion by the school.
For the teachers:
The principal would be able to monitor the movement as
well as the attendance of the teachers as the texting
concept would be applied to the principal instead of the
parent. So once logged in, a text notification will be sent
to the principal then same concept whenever they switch
subjects.
Students
For the student’s account, upon logging in to the Learning Commons using the registered USERNAME and
PASSWORD, the student will automatically view their respective subjects.

In this section, the student will only have the access to all his/her subjects. The student dashboard includes 5
columns:

SUBJECT CODE – Indicates the code of the subject

TITLE – Indicates the title of the subject
QUARTER – Indicates what quarter per subject
TEACHER – Indicates the teacher handling the subject
VIEW ACTIVITIES – All activities uploaded by the teacher
This is the dashboard section for student account.

In this section, after clicking the VIEW button in the subject list, the students will have a better view of all lessons
uploaded by the teacher for a specific subject.

ACTIVITY NO. - Which indicates how many activity/activities being uploaded by the teacher.
TITLE – Indicates the title of the file uploaded.
DESCRIPTION – Indicates the instructions or details of the activity.
SCORE - Indicates the score for assessment once checked by the teacher.
STATUS – Indicates the progress monitoring area per activity if the student finished or not started the activity.
VIEW ACTIVITY - Basically takes the student to a page where they could read the teacher’s announcement,
instruction, or statement regarding the lesson. Students could also comment on the teacher’s statement.
DOWNLOAD ACTIVITY - Where the students will be downloading the files.
UPLOAD ANSWERS - where they would be uploading their files.
