    discharged into collection tank
    2. Physico-Chemical treatment / primary
    • to remove settleable organic and inorganic solid by sedimentation

    50-70% of Total Suspended Solids
    65% of oil and grease are removed
    3. Biological / Secondary treatment
    • to remove biodegradable dissolved and colloidal organic matter using
    aerobic biological treatment
    • aerobic bacteria metabolize organic matter in waste water
    4. Tertiary / Advanced treatment
    • To reduce residual COD and other wastewater constituents
