● The online education market is witnessing promising growth with the increased usage
of the Internet and awareness of e-learning.

● The Indian online education market is highly fragmented with around 3,500 edtech
start-ups operating in the country. Many foreign players are entering the Indian online
education industry. BYJU's, Udemy, Coursera and Duolingo are a few prominent
players in the industry, catering to the requirements of different target audiences.
● Online education has been mainly categorised into five key categories:
1. Primary and secondary supplemental education.
2. Higher Education.

headquartered at Gurugram, Haryana.
● This platform comes under the category of Reskilling and Online Certificate.
● MentorBoxx is mostly an extension of Unschool which is also one of the major
eLearning Platform India.
● MentorBoxx provide more than 100 courses in Technical, Management and Arts
subjects.

Project Design and Methodology

Task-1: Product Learning


● The Objective is to get in-depth knowledge about the company website and product
portfolio.
● We are asked to learn various FAQ that are asked by many customers to give best
possible answers to the customers.
● They have given a target of minimum Rs15000 to achieve for success completion of
Internship.
● They have given us various promocodes which will discounts from range of 20% to
50%. Which have to be give to customers accordingly.
● They gave some training sessions about how to pitch sales and how to acquire leads.

● Task-2 Digital Marketing and Community Influencer Marketing:


Digital Marketing Through Instagram:

● MentorBoxx chooses Instagram as the primary platform for social media marketing.
The main objective of this campaign is to promote a 50% offer on every course
available on the website. The reason to reduce the price is to help students to upskill
in this pandemic.
● The task is to create the best possible posters to post on Instagram as stories; The
Posters should consist of all aspects of the product, come up with a maximum
number of hashtags, and consist of hyperlinks to websites. Following some of the
posters created to post on Instagram
● One of the main features of Instagram, which is very famous and most trending
among the youth, is "Reels". In this task, we all have come up with appropriate ideas
to make fun and attractive short videos and post it to the group. Any acceptable idea
will be made into a short video using interns and shared with us to promote and
share.

● Community Influencer Marketing through LinkedIn:

 Every Intern has to make specific changes to their Linkedin profile according to the
instructions of their corporate mentors, where our designation will be visible as
Community Influencer for MentorBoxx.
 Every day, we have to share all the posts that the company will upload, keep on track
of posts, contact everyone interested in the courses, clarify their doubts, and pitch the
sale.
● We are also instructed to contact industry professionals and professors to endorse our
courses to their companies and students

● Task 3 Sales:

 All the stories posted via Instagram, LinkedIn and personal messages will have
hyperlinks, which are unique to each Intern. Whenever anyone clicks and share their
details, they will be recorded and sent to my email, where I have to collect all the data
and maintain them in an excel sheet.
 Every week, we have to share the data collected with the mentor, which will be shared
among the interns for further sales. Everyday we have to make at least 25 to 40 calls.
 For every potential customer, we have to send all the details about courses to their
WhatsApp and have follow up on the phone and make the sale successful.
 Every Intern will get a set of promocodes that can be shared with the customers
according to their discretion. But there is a limit to how many promo codes to be given
so that it won't affect revenue.

Findings:
 As it is a start-up company, there are many places very the company has to improve.
 The communication chain of the company is not stable. Every time we get
communication from email, it will be challenging to identify whether it came from a
company or not.
● The company's website has a lot of room for improvement, and many things are
missing from the website which is very important like about the company, promo
code column on the course page, Many hyperlinks which won't work etc.
● The company pricing policy was not subtle. It changes from time to time, making it
very difficult to convince the customers to buy the courses.
 As the Unschool is the one who is providing the courses, sometimes it is tough for
customers to get in contact with their live session mentors.
 As the employer's count is very low, it is becoming very tough for them to maintain
contact with them. In some cases, Interns cant meet their mentors for a whole week.
Which will result in losing some sales also.

Recommendations:
 The company have to develop a website into more interactive and more info on the
company.
 Add free demo session to give basic gist of the courses provided so that customers
can know what company can provide.
 The sale tracking technology should be improved a lot as interns are supposed to
provide screenshots of the sale, which sometimes will be difficult to acquire as the
screenshot option is disabled on the mobile website.
 The company should hire permanent employees as core members rather than
depending entirely on the interns.
 The company needs to invest more in SEO presence and social media presence. A
similar company has the same name, and it isn't easy to customers to differentiate.
 Has to improve more digital presence.

Learnings

● MentorBoxx mostly focused on providing courses and internship which helps


customers to gain insights of how the industry works by providing appropriate
Internships.
 Learnt how to create an efficient marketing campaign.
 While doing a campaign one should focus on how to connect emotionally with the
viewers rather than only focus on the products.
 Learnt how to handle angry and unreasonable customers and followers.
 To increase the followers in social media one should create interactive posts which are
creative and adding small games, brain teasers will improve followers.
