ORGANIZATIONAL PROFILE
 
Mutha Engineering Private Limited
Mutha Engineering specializes in the manufacture of precision machined components Mutha
Engineering Pvt. Ltd. Offers precision machined components. We are an ISO 9002 certified
company and Established in the Year 1982 at Satara.
 
Products
Mutha Engineering Pvt Ltd (Mutha Engineering) manufactures precision machined components
such as brake drums, brake disc, manifolds, fly-wheels, gear box housings, “V” groove pulleys,
blocks & gear blanks, sub-assemblies for the automobile and general engineering industry.
Operations
Mutha Engineering is a part of the Mutha Group and commenced its production in the year 1984.
The company has two plants located at Satara, Maharashtra. The plant comprises of CNCs, VMCs,
CMMs and SPMs with production processes involving turning, milling, drilling, and tapering
among others. The plant has a capacity utilisation of 80%. The company serves LCVs, HCVs,
UVs, two and three wheelers. Its major domestic customer includes Bajaj Auto, Force Motors,
Yamaha Motors, Hero Honda, Eicher Motors, TVS Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra. Mutha
Engineering also exports its products to International Trucks & Engine Corporation, USA; Golden
Companies, USA and MAN, German.
The domestic market contributed 65% and exports accounted for 35% of the total revenue. Mutha
Engineering’s revenue grew by 35% in the last two years and expects to grow by 45% in the next
two years. It is accredited with ISO 9001:2000 certification.

Organization is committed to Enhance Customer Satisfaction by providing Cost
Effective and Quality Products and Services with Timely Delivery in the field of
“Automobile, Oil Engines, Refrigeration & air conditioning Components
Manufacturing” and Continually Improving the Business Management System

INTRODUCTION  

DISCIPLINE AND INDISCIPLINE


 
Discipline means orderly behavior - It means voluntary and willing compliance rules and
regulations and instructions and also development of right habits of conduct in work with others at
the work-place.
 
Why do we want Discipline?
(a) Discipline is essential in any organization for improving the employee morale as well as to
increase the productivity which is the ultimate goal of any organization.
(b) Discipline is of utmost importance for harmonious working with a view to achieve Company’s
objectives.
(c) It is moral responsibility of the employer not to allow the minority of employees who are
indiscipline to affect the life of majority.
 
How does Indiscipline arise?
In most of the cases, indiscipline of a worker is the expression of his reaction to his environment.
Usually the causes of indiscipline are:
(a) Lack of awareness of Company’s rules and regulations;
(b) False promises made by superiors;
(c) Absence of any procedure to handle grievances;
(d) No action taken when required;
(e) Personal frustrations and misunderstandings.
There could be many other different reasons for indiscipline depending upon individual
differences.
