Plot of the movie 
 The film is about a 10-year-old girl named Annabell been who lives in Texas,
this little girl begins to have digestive problems, for this reason her parents
consult doctors. According to the doctors' first diagnosis, she suffers from
gastric reflux and is also allergic to lactose. Anna, as her friends tell her, did
not improve and she is in worse health every day, for this reason she was
taken to the Hospital. The doctor on duty formulated palliative medications
for pain and fever, after this he wanted to remove her from the emergency
room, her mother objected and was evaluated by the specialist doctor, who
stated that Anna had to be operated immediately because he had an
abdominal obstruction. This Dr says that Ana has a disease called pseudo-
obstruction motility disorder, this does not allow her to eat like anyone,
without a medical appointment her mother takes her to Boston where DR
Nurko, this doctor makes her all exams and re-confirms the diagnosis. Several
experimental treatments are done to treat the disease, but these are not
effective for Anna. In boston Anna and her mother meet spectacular woman
who become their guide and friend in the city.
 After the doctors affirmed that Anna was going to die, she returns to her
house where she falls from a 30-foot-tall tree and does not have any
important invoice, days later Anna does not present any symptones  of her
illness and tells her parents that she went to heaven and GOD heal her, after
this conversation her mother dedicates herself to tell the story of the
miracle, it is considered a miracle because there is no scientific explanation
for the regeneration of her body.

• Excellent wife and mother, the life tests her

with her daughter’s illness, in this moment her
faith in God is spilling over, maybe she felt that
God had abandoned her, for this reason she
was unable to pray but she always felt that she
was steadfast in her principles. She is brave
and draws strength and accompanies her
daughter in very hard times, she begs
vehemently to get the appointment with the
doctor because at that moment it was her
great hope. 
Doctor Nurko

• This man is an excellent professional that

dedicated to serving his patients, he is happy
and funny but is one of the best Doctors in
United States of America because his
diagnoses are very accurate in the scientific
community. Despite knowing that her little
patient Anna had no cure, he does everything
possible to improve Anna living conditions,
with his help and dedication he impact very
well in Anna life. 
Film Values 

• Loyalty, Dr. Nurko is very loyal to his profession and with his patients, he also is very loyal to
the Hippocratic oath that all doctors take in the world. 
• Family junction; The bean Family is a demonstration of family junction, because despite all the
problems generated by Ann´s disease, they manage to keep together as a family. 
• Faith in God: Respecting the beliefs of each one you for me and for Christians, having faith in
God is the value that allows us to bear any problem. 
• Open-mindedness: For non-believers hearing these stories where there is no answer in
science allows you to open mind that a Higher Self can exist. 
• Leadership: Anna´s mother becomes a leader of hope for people who have lost her.

• My reflection on the film is that you must never lose hope and you must always believe in a
better tomorrow with the help of GOD. Diseases are hard trials in life that can be solved
through family junction. This film also allows me to reflect that I can impact very positively
in the life of the people as the doctor Nurko did to Anna, I may not have studied medicine,
but I don´t need to be a Doctor to make life easier for someone who needs it, like the
waitress did to Annabel Bean. 
• In my personal life this movie reminds me that God made a miracle with my mother, she
had invasive cancer and currently has not cancer in her body. 
• Einstein said, “There are two ways to live your life: One as if nothing is a miracle, the other
as if everything is a miracle”.
