    Communication is defined as conveying meanings, ideas, thoughts, or feelings between two or more entities through mutually understood signs, symbols and rules. It is a two-way process that requires a sender and receiver. There are four possible combinations of senders and receivers - individual to individual, individual to group, group to individual, and group to group. Communication skills refer to one's ability to communicate effectively, which is important for success in the modern world. Language originated from the urge to communicate, and while words make up language, ideas are the basic building blocks of both language and communication. Communication does not depend entirely on language, as it can occur through other means as well.

    • Communication (from Latin communicare, meaning "to share") is the
    act of conveying (meanings)/ideas/thoughts/feelings from one entity
     or group to another through the use of mutually understood signs, 
    symbols, and semiotic rules.
    Two way Process
    • It necessarily need two ends at least.

    • If a person is speaking in front of a wall an talking to it. Will it be the


    communication? Why not
    (absence of the recipient end)

    But the same instance can be communication if the receiving end is
