BASIS OF case study and RANKING -
Introduction-

This case study refers to the performance of the judges in the


different courts of Hamilton County. In this case study we
analyze three different courts such as Common pleas court,
Domestic relations court and Municipal court. The
performance of Judges is in each and every court is analyzed
using probability techniques.
QUESTIONS -
Question 1:
The probability of cases being appealed and reversed in the three different courts.
Ans:-
Common Pleas Court= 0.040,0.004
Domestic Relations Court=0.003,0.000
Municipal Court= 0.004, 0.000

Question 2:
The probability of a case being appealed for each judge
Question 3:
The probability of a case being reversed for each judge.
Question 4:
The probability of reversal given an appeal for each judge.
Question 5:
Rank the judges within the court. State the criteria you used and provide a rationale for your
choice.
-The ranking of the judges within each court has been done based on the probability of
reversal given an appeal since that provides how accurately they were able to take
decisions(individual judges)
