Introduction

• The Shell brand name enjoys a 100-year history in this part of the world, dating
back to 1899.

• Shell has a 150,000,000 employees and a global HR system.

• In 1970, 51% of the shareholding was transferred to Pakistani investors.

• The name of Burma Shell Oil Distribution Company was changed in 1970, to
Pakistan Burma Shell (PBS).
