Some / any -- Possessive adjectives

SOME:
Some is used with both countable and uncountable nouns:
 Positive sentences
'I have some friends.'
'We bought some coffee.'

 Offering
We use some in questions when we expect the answer to
be 'yes' or when we are offering something, otherwise, we
use any:
'Would you like some milk?
SOME:
 Requests
Some is also used in questions when we are making a
request:

'Can I borrow some money?'


ANY:
 Negative sentences
Any is used in negative
sentences:

'I don't have any friends.'


'There isn't any bread left.'

 Questions
Any is used in questions:

'Do you have any money?'


'Is there any sugar?'

Possessive adjectives
They are words that modify a noun to show a form of possession, a sense of
belonging or ownership to a specific person, animal or thing.

The possessive adjectives that are used in the English language are:
my
Your
His
Her
Its
Our
their
Each one corresponds to a subject pronoun.
