Ethical

Decision-
Making

obedience looks not only at the letter of
the law but also the spirit or moral
values behind it.
Moral agent

The one who eventually must

-can be understood to mean both the person
in relation to herself, as well as the relation
to other human beings on an intimate or
person-to-person basis.
-how she takes care of herself versus how
she treats her badly.
Ethics serves to guide one through
potentially confusing thicket of an
individual’s interaction with her
wider world of social roles which
come into conflict with one another
or even with her own system of
values.
