Custom from other countries
Bangladesh adapted to many new dance
forms. Classical forms of the sub-continent
predominate in Bangladeshi dance. The folk,
tribal and Middle Eastern traits are also
common. But now people are exploring styles
such as hip-hop, jazz-funk, waacking, Indian
folk dances, semi-classical fusions based on
Bharatnatyam and Kathak and European
dance forms among others.
