Failure is the stepping

stone to success.
FAILURE is your:
F – First
A – Attempt
I – In
L – Learning

Failure is not falling down, but

refusing to get up.

A short motivational story…..
Before Thomas Alva Edison invented the
electric light bulb, he tried innumerable
times. But, each of his attempts ‘burst’ into
pieces. He did not give up, he kept on
trying until he succeeded.
On being asked how he felt about his failed attempts, Edison
replied, “I have not failed. I just found 10,000 ways that won’t
work.”
The lesson to be learnt here is that success and failure go hand in
hand. Until and unless we fail, we don’t become aware of our
shortcomings.

REMEMBER!
Whether it has seemed to work or not, every step
you've taken up to now has brought you closer to
success. Because…

• Each time we get it wrong, we learn much

more about how to get it right.
• Every adversity, disappointment, and
failure carries with it the seeds of success.
• It just takes a little positive mental attitude
and a commitment to keep trying.

HOW TO DEAL WITH
A FAILURE?

SELF REFLECTION TIME
THINK ABOUT A TIME WHEN YOU FACED A
FAILURE: • What was the task/event? Why did you
fail?
• What might have produced a better
outcome?
• Was the failure completely beyond your
control?
• What did you learn from it?
• How will you apply this newfound
insight 7to make things better the next
time?
THANK YOU!
