 The is being developed to help companies manage their Freight

Management System is an Internet-based transportation
application which transportation operations.

 The transportation system is a user friendly, multi-user, network

ready program that allows the operational management of a
transport brokerage and/ or trucking company.
 Existing System
 Any transportation company maintains its regular transactions and all
the data required for smooth working of business manually.

 The company may own a software system specifically made as per

their requirement

 If the company has different branches all over the country or city it
needs to have an intranet facility to keep the system updated about
different branches so as to maintain synchronization between different
branches.
 Limitations of Existing System

 Data processing and presentation will be very fast in the proposed
system compared to the existing system.

 Data storage and calculations will be performed by computers, so

paperwork and repetitions of work will be reduced.

 As current information will be available to clients we can say that

client service will be improved.

 Proposed system will be very easy to use which will definitely improve the
efficiency in work.

 The system will be having multilevel security such as password etc., so it

becomes reliable.

application developed to help company manage their transportation
operation.
