Meaning of CMD (command)
This is the state of XC when Error Log is recorded

SB (Scan Busy) Normal scan is running and continues (Arc recovery)

SD (Scan Down) After scan or Normal scan stopped by Error
UB (Unit Busy) Warm-up, Seasoning or special scan (DCA, PC) is running and continues (Arc recovery)
UD (Unit Down) Warm-up, Seasoning or special scan (DCA, PC) is stopped by Error
RR (Reset) Initial State (After Power-ON or XC Reset)
PB (PAS busy) Under scanning condition setup (kV, mA, etc)
Dx (DA - DZ) After scanning condition setup.
AD Stopped by Abort button

Example of Error Log 1/2

1. Automatic arcing recover

3F373C3F3F3F3F3F3F3F SB (UB) ------

2. Scan stop (no recover)

3F373C3F3F3F3F3F3F3F SD ( UD ) ------

In these cases, "Settings" and "Actual" means the setting

scan condition and actual exposure time.
Automatic arcing recover is effective when the exposure
lasts for 3 seconds or more, and maximum 3 times in one
scan.

13
Example of Error Log 2/2

3. Error generated in non-scan

--------------------------- PB/Dx ---------

In this case, "Settings" and "Actual“ times should be

disregarded.

14
Caution about Error Log 1/2
Please do not mistake about "Flow error".
• Error code of "flow error" is :
3Fxxxxxx3E ・・・

• This is not "flow error".

3Cxxxxxx3E ・・・
In this case, there is both "door open" (3C) and
"flow error"(3E). This error is recorded at the
time of power ON.
(XC ROM C10031-10: this is solved.)
15
Caution about Error Log 2/2
Command “LD” is not error.
• If you save XC log before resetting the error, LD log is
recorded. LD should be disregarded.

Example
--------------------------- LD --------
This is no error.

SRU heat block test
block test with power
Caution, to much power can damage the SRU
1. Set DIP SW2-6 to on and select effective.
2. Select “Parameter Adjustment”
3. Set 80 kV, 10mA, Rotor on.
4. Select “Details”
5. Set KL to 140->115 ( higher is less power )
6. Set US : 00001 ( inverter 1 )
7. Click OK
8. Click return
9. Click Start.

26
Block test without tube

Is the problem cause in the SRU’s

or in the cable/tube?
High Voltage pins are open!
Don’t touch HV connector pins !!

27
Block test without tube
• Disconnect the HV cable going to the tube
at the SRU-H side.
Put the SRU-H on 90o
• Make a connection in
the HV connector on
the SRU side.
(from pin to ring/pin)

28
Block test without tube
• Start Block test (set DSW 2-6 ON)
• You can make about 36kV without flash on the HV
connector. If you go higher a flash-over will occur at
the HV connector. Start:
• Settings Block test: KV:122 KL:220
KV:122 KL:210
– All ON etc etc
– KV: 200 / KL: 204 (= ± 36kV) Decrease KV when output
(KL: 225 = ± 0kV) is limited.

• Be careful after exposure the HV connector pins have

a charge. Short the pins to GND before touching the
connector.
