IMAGINE A DAY

WITHOUT
NON-RENEWABLE RESOURCES

Non-Renewable Resources:-
Fossil fuels are non-renewable energy resources; these
are coal, oil and natural gas.
They were formed from the remains of living
organisms millions of years ago and they release heat
energy when they are burned.
ITS ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES
ADVANTAGES :-
The main advantages of non-renewable energies is that they are
abundant and affordable. For example, oil and diesel are still good
choices for powering vehicles.
Non-renewable energy is cost effective and easier to product and use.
According to National Geographic, there are reservoirs of non-
renewable energy sources throughout the world.

DISADVANTAGES
once sources of non-renewable energies are gone, they can't be replaced
or revitalized.
Extraction and usage of these leads to global warming, air pollution ,
etc.
A DAY WITHOUT IT:-
You can’t travel distant places in your vehicles as your
vehicles are working with the help of non-renewable
resources like petrol, diesel, etc.
So to travel distant places , you need vehicles which run on
electricity or any other renewable energy.
We can even use animals like horses for long distances.
In India, we still don’t have electric cars but some
companies are introducing electric bikes which may be
used in our world to face the day without it.
For short distances, you can even walk or just use
something like a cycle or a bullock cart like olden days.
You can’t have generators for power backup facilities as they
function with non-renewable resources like diesel. Hospitals will
be mainly affected by this.
Electricity is generated on large scale using non-renewable
resources(57%) than renewable resources in India(43%).
So, it will not be possible to generate electricity for the entire
country with renewable resources.
As a result, electricity shortages may occur throughout our
country and our economy can also get affected as many
companies won’t have sufficient energy to do their work.
The World will get its pollution reduced than before and have its
environment cleaner as clean energy is used.
THANK YOU EVERYONE!
