Technology has proven to assist us in our daily task especially in working environment. Organization has
adopted technology in various ways to improve its business process flow. Apart from its known beneficial
value, there are disadvantages that can lead to increase level of stress to its user from using technology. This
is known as technostress. Technostress has become a widely discuss domain in research and have become
one of the worrying factors among organization. Employees might easily feel distracted, lack of motivation
to work, and exhausted from using technology. In Malaysia, there is still limited research on how
technostress has an effect towards employee job performance.
This study aims to develop an understanding in identifying factors that lead to technostress and analyses the
effect of technostress towards employees in Malaysia in terms of their job performance.
