STATES OF MATTER

Matter is anything
that has mass and
occupies space.
WATER IS A SUBSTANCE THAT CAN EXIST IN
ALL THREE STATES OF MATTER.

It is in solid state when frozen;


it is liquid when at room
temperature; and become gas
when heated in the form of
water vapor.
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

Can be observed
without changing
their composition.
CHEMICAL PROPERTIES

Describe some chemical change


or reaction it undergo, and this is
changes in its composition. To
best define the chemical
property, we must use the word
change.
