The document describes how to make a slingshot and the energy transformations that occur when firing it. It involves finding a Y-shaped wood piece, carving notches, attaching an elastic band as a sling, tying a pouch, and storing potential energy by stretching the band. When released, the potential energy converts to kinetic energy and sound energy, propelling the pouch forward.

BSSE-6th(A) 05-18-21 My Model is Sling shot To make a sling shot following steps are required:
• Find a sturdy Y-shaped piece of wood.
• Carve a notch at the top of each Prong.
• Cut an Elastic band to serve as a ring.
• Attatch the sling to the frame.
• Create a make shift pouch.
• Tie the sling to the pouch.
• Now the sling shot is ready.
Energy Transformation in Firing a Slinghot
• The stored Energy is Potential Energy. The farther the rubber
band is stretched, the more Elastic Potential Energy is stored. • When rubber band is released, the Elastic Potential energy is converted into Sound Energy and Kinetic Energy which causes motion.
