What it all means?
• P wave- Atrial depolarization, Atrial contraction
• PR interval- The time it takes for the impulse to move from the
atria to the AV node
• QRS complex- Ventricular depolarization, Ventricular
contraction, S1 heard now (Lub)
• R wave- patient’s pulse
• QT interval- Ventricular refractory “resting” time.
• ST segment- From Ventricular depolarization to ventricular
repolarization.
• T wave- Ventricular repolarization, Ventricular relaxation and
filling, S2 heard now (Dub)
