The item that I want to show and tell
today is an item that is round and
has an inflatable inner rubber that
can expand, while on the outer layer
it is made out of rubber or a
synthetic composite. This item is
used primarily for team sports that
involves dribbling, passing and
shooting. Can you guess the item? It
is non other than a ___________!
WHAT IS THIS TEXT ABOUT?
A basketball can be used for playing the
sports of basketball. It is usually played in
a basketball court that is either indoor or
outdoor. As I have mentioned, this item is
used by basketball players to dribble,
pass, and shoot. But not only that, it can
also be used to do mesmerising tricks!
Have you heard of “The Professor”? He is
an incredible street basketball player that
does tricks. Go search him up in YouTube,
and you’ll be amazed!
WHAT IS THIS TEXT ABOUT?
In general, a basketball is quite special to me because
it is one of the items that changed my life for the
better. When I was in primary school, I wasn’t into
sports at all. But that all changed when my friend
brought me to a basketball court. I fell in love with
the game instantly and on the next day I asked my dad
to buy me a basketball. Every evening after school I
would be going to the nearest basketball court while
still on my school uniform just to have an extra hour
playing basketball. It was worth it as I was able to be
active in sports and ultimately represented my school
for the yearly basketball competition.
WHAT IS THE MEANING OF
KEEPSAKE?
Like everything in life, nothing
lasts forever, however, a
basketball is a keepsake that
will always remind me of the
experience I had while using it.
