What is conflict resolution?


Conflict resolution is a way for two or more parties to
find a peaceful solution to a disagreement among them.
The disagreement may be personal, financial, political, or
emotional. When a dispute arises, often the best course
of action is negotiation to resolve the disagreement.
Steps to resolve the conflicts.
1. Listen carefully.
2. Find agreement.
3. Provide guidance.
4. Be quick to forgive.
Strategies to Resolve Conflict
at Work.

•Embrace conflict. When conflict arises, don't avoid it, or pretend


nothing has happened.
•Talk together. Set up a time and place so you can talk for an extended
span without outside interruptions.
•Here is the conflict resolution process in five steps.
•Step 1: Define the source of the conflict.
•Step 2: Look beyond the incident.
•Step 3: Request solutions.
•Step 4: Identify solutions both disputants can support.
•Step 5: Agreement.
