CPAG ON TB/HIV ELIMINATION
AMIDST THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
Cavite Positive Action Group The JCH Advocacy Inc. was established to help People Living with
HIV and key affected population. We do conduct monthly STI/HIV and AIDS Education,
Awareness and Screening or the SHEAPS Caravan with TB Education for the community.
Unfortunately because of the ongoing pandemic, City Health Office won’t allow us to conduct
SHEAPS Caravan due to heightened restrictions on Covid-19. Amidst these challenges, we still
pursue our House to House TB Screening with the help of our Community Health Workers. With
their endeavour, we can still reach our target and find some active TB Cases in our community
and enrol them for treatment.
Currently, CPAG has a total of 43 patients under monitoring and 121 Household members of TB
Patients.
