The Deadman Device is one of the safety devices of the train. If the driver can not
continuously activate operate the device when operating the train due to
uncertain physical conditions, the emergency brake will be automatically
activated.
The Deadman Device is located on the Driver controller handle. If the driver loose
grip of the device for a certain period during normal train operation, warning
buzzer will be activated follow by traction power cut off and emergency brake
application.

• Internal position of lights in saloon
• Saloon Light(DC40W)
• The Saloon Light(DC) are located near gangway area and door bay for emergency evacuation
as following figure.
• A Fluorescent Tube with Saloon Light(DC) is mounted on the passenger parts ceiling.
It is automatically
switched on at full
illumination when the car
is operated including in
event of an emergency
detrainment.
Gangway light
• This Gangway Light fixture is lighted up by input voltage of DC110V. A circle
fluorescent tube with Gangway Light is mounted on path of the passenger parts
ceiling.
• The lights provide illumination for gangway area by automation.
