Overview
• A mutually beneficial relationship between
Livingstone College Salisbury, North Carolina by
developing academic and cultural interexchange in
teaching, research and other activities.
• Exchange of faculty and students, joint
conferences, academic meeting, and joint research
activities are encouraged.
• Selection is done by a special commission at their
home institution which is accepted by other
institution.

 About the Practice
• Starts from the written examination, consisting
of aptitude test and GDPI
• Selected students are assisted with all the
academic necessities.
• One faculty member from Invertis University
also accompany the students.
• Teaching course loads, working hours and
conditions are in accordance with established
rules and practices of the host institution, subject
to prior negotiation and agreement.
• The equivalency of the courses are determined
by the academic committees of both institutions.

 Objectives
• To facilitate students and faculties from overseas Universities
and to have enriching experience from each other’s cultural
heritage.
• To enhance mutual learning in students so as to render
promotion of international friendship and benevolence.
• To cultivate international mindset while educating globally.

Challenges
• The initial challenge is the cultural shock which they have to go
through while they adjust their life in a new country .
• Adjusting and accurately conveying feelings in a different
cultural setup is a great adventure amplified by a language
barrier.
• Home sickness is another big challenge while residing in new
country.
