Introduction
We conducted a small survey about the popularity of Korean skincare steps. 77% of the respondents stated that they really enjoy Korean skincare as it is highly
effective in revitalizing the damaged skin. The only concern Indian females showed is that it consists of 8-10 steps to be followed twice in a day which itself is
pretty time consuming for Indian college girls and working women. Also we hardly find authentic Korean brands offering affordable products in Indian market.
Adding to this, the pandemic has really imposed a compulsion of wearing a mask whenever we are out of our homes or at a public place.

Identifying these as part of our problem statement, we are proposing a youth retention face mask for females in the age group of 18-40 years. The mask will
mostly target the college going girls and working women. The mask will function as a preventive tool as well as provide continuous nourishment to the facial skin
and thereby slow down the ageing.

Design of the product

This will be a hybrid version of normal face mask and Korean sheet mask. The outer layer of the mask will made up of a mixture of cotton and and nylon fabric
with porous design to facilitate ease of breathing. The inner layer will have thin sheets of muslin cloth. These muslin sheets will remain moist with a special
serum throughout the time and will target all the problematic areas like forehead, jawlines, corners of mouth, etc from where the signs of ageing usually
originate.

The mask will be washable and will come up with a life of 1 month. The muslin sheets set ( consisting of sheets for every part of the face, that is from forehead to
chin) will have a life of 1 week each. After 1 week, the entire set must be replaced by another set of sheets. Hence 1 pack will contain a full face mask (validity 1
month) with 4 sets of muslin sheets ( validity 1 set/week, therefore sufficient for 4 weeks) and a bottle of serum solution.
Composition of the serum solution
The semi viscous solution made up below ingredients infused in a water extract
• Rose oil extract
• Retinoids
• Green tea and tea tree oil extract
• Wild turmeric infused in sesame oil extract
• Aloe vera gel
• Vitamin E and C
• Blue berry extract
• Glycerin
The above will be the major organic bulk ingredients of the serum solution. This combination will increase the speed of cell regrowth, prevent pre mature fine lines,
keeps the facial skin hydrated for longer period, improve skin tone, improve skin elasticity, prevent wrinkles, prevent sun damage organically and prevent blemishes.
The serum will come in a spray bottle and it should be sprayed evenly on muslin sheets before fixing that sheet into the cotton mask. One can spray the serum again
and again once the moisture from the muslin sheet is completely exhausted.

Function
This innovative mask will support the needs of health and safety posed by the current global pandemic and also help to improvise/ retain the facial skin health
eliminating all those 7-8 steps of Korean skincare and integrating it into a single product which will do multiple jobs.

Usage
One can apply this mask right after the face wash before going outside. It will eliminate need of toner, essence, sheet mask, serum, moisturizer, anti-ageing cream,
sunscreen and thereby help women in practicing sustainable skincare.

Something similar to this mask from outside appearance.
It will have slits inside to fix thin muslin moist sheets for different areas like forehead, chin,
jawline, and cheeks.
