Reason for the Resistance
• The reason for the resistance in the border is due tot the reason that
China is trying to construct a road connecting Doklam plateau and a
aprt of china.
• Since it’s a disputed plateau the resistance arose and many army
troops were assembled at both the sides.
• Both China and India have two airports which were filled with war
planes once the resistance arose
• Siliguri bagdogra Airport and Hasimara air force station was filled
with air stikers.(The location of these airports is shown in image
1,slide 1)
Reason
• The clash which prevailed during the past week did not result in any
gun fights.
• However Four Indian and Seven Chinese soldiers was injured due to a
hand clash between the soldiers at the border.
• Local commanders spoke and resolved the issues on Saturday.
• The previous faceoff between the two countries was the reason for
such a tension.
History
• In 1962 a war was fought bwtween India and China at the same
place.China won the war.
• India says that Sikkim is the only plateau region in which India could
Stand of china’s Incursion and it also points that India have a tactial
advantage of it.
• Indian Defence minister arun jaitley also stated that India is not like
it was in 1962 and it may stand off any forces to fight for its position.
• Even during the world fighting against a major virus, the thirst for
territorial power is not been compromised.
• Peace and help to other nations may be the best solution in this time
of world crisis.
