Conventional and Development
• Before the era of electronic control, most aircraft cockpit systems were
arranged in the “classic T” configuration.
Attitude Direction Indicator (ADI)

Attitude Indicator ADI

It is known as a Gyro Horizon or Artificial Horizon or Attitude Direction
Indicator (ADI). Be on board an airplane to inform the Pilot of the
Orientation of the Plane Relative to the Earth Horizon. Shows the
pitch(Front and Back Tilt) and Bank (Side to Side Tilt) and is the Main
Instrument of flight in Instrument Meteorological conditions.

glass cockpit is a cockpit on a plane with a computerized display/ instrument

display, to change the appearance of a mechanical display. A glass cockpit is an
aircraft cockpit that features electronic (digital) flight instrument display, typically
large LCD screens, rather than the traditional style of an analog dials and gauges.
While a traditional cockpit relies on numerous mechanical gauges (nicknamed
“steam gauges”) to display information, a glass cockpit uses several multi-function
displays driven in flight management systems, that can be adjusted to display flight.
COMPONENT GLASS COCKPIT
The basic components of the glass cockpit
are EFIS and EICAS. The EFIS derivative
consists of a Primary Flight Display and
Navigation Display which is located on the
instrument panel on the pilot and co-pilot
side which is able to display several things,
starting from navigation data:
DME, VOR, GS, ILS, and so on, to data on
altitude, wind speed, aircraft speed, attitude,
time, compass, and the like.

HUD Technology
HUD Technology
A head-up display system, or HUD for short, is a transparent
display that presents data without requiring the user to look too
darted like the dashboard they normally use.

The origin of the name comes from a pilot who can look at
information with his head “tilted up “ and looking forward instead
of looking at the lower angle to look down at a lower instrument.
Although HUDs were originally developed for military aviation,
they are now used in commercial aircraft, automobiles, and others.
