practices (performance management) and their
commitment to the organisation. In addition,
the study seeks to examine the mechanisms by
which these perceptions translate into
employee attitudes and behaviors.

Conceptual models have started to explore the
links between HRM practices and HRM
outcomes.
The HRM practices influence the perception of
the employees, and this perception influence
employee level outcome.
When the practice is designed to achieve
particular HRM outcome then high level of
commitment in this case.
