The main objective of attendance policy is to assist HR to
become more efficient. Moreover HR can take exceptions
based on employee attendance with following Parameters-
Unscheduled Absence, Early In, In Late, Out Early, Out Late
etc.
Office Hour:
Normal working of e-Soft will be from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm with one
hour break for lunch & prayer (1:30 pm to 2:30 pm) from Saturday to
Wednesday
from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Thursday.
Casual Leave
Sick Leave
Maternity Leave
Compassionate Leave
Recreation Leave
Extraordinary Leave
Unpaid Vacation
Annual Leave:
Casual Leave:
• Maximum period of 10 (ten) days in a Calendar year with full
pay.
• Maximum 3 (three) days’ Casual Leave can be taken at a time.
• Casual Leave can not be taken in between two spells of holidays.
Sick Leave:
• Maximum 14 (fourteen) days in a calendar year with full pay.
Maternity Leave :
• Female staff members will be eligible for 2 maternity leaves
during entire services with the Organization.
• 180 days maternity leave during each pregnancy period.
• During maternity Leave, employee will be paid at 70% of regular
salary.
Compassionate Leave:
Up to 3 days will be granted in the event of death of the staff
member’s immediate family members (Parents, spouse,
children).
Extraordinary Leave :
It may be granted to an employee in special circumstances where
no other leave is admissible under this rules. Such leave will not
exceed more than one month. But if an employee prayed for
higher education or special training which will be helpful for the
company then leave may extended up to 1 year.
Conclusion:
Effective leave policy is one of the most demanding issues of the
modern HRM. . To survive in the competitive IT firm like e-Soft need
to more focused on creating innovative ways to ensure effective use
of leave policy. HR Operations is more responsible to create and
manage leave policy. Thus ensuring employee satisfaction. Though e-
Soft has no separate HRD, but they try to follow overall HR activities
which are under Bangladesh Labor Law 2006 to achieve
organizational goal as well as employee satisfaction.
