• Relative clause is a sentence which gives information about the subject of a sentence and is
introduced with relative pronouns and relative adverbs.

e.g. An actuator is a device that puts something into an action or a mechanical motion.
e.g. Noise, which is any unwanted signals, can be a problem with amplifiers

All engineers measure things, but try asking yourself the following questions:
• Are the measurement results accurate enough?
• Is the measurement device working correctly?
• How critical is this measurement? If it is wrong, will someone lose money? Or could someone
lose their life?
