About the course – What will
you learn

 This unit covers the design and implementation of strategy, both at the
organisation and business unit levels. It also presents the tools and
methodologies for industry and competition analysis as well as techniques to
tap uncontested markets to deliver fast growth and superior profitability.
 Whatever the goals are, financial, market-oriented, people-oriented, there has to
be a systematic effort to operationalise the plans by taking the right
decisions that will lead towards these goals.
 Translating strategy into operations is all about making choices and executing
them.
 Actively manage business processes for Value Creation.
 Analyse the importance and the challenges of aligning strategy and execution.
 How to strategize under uncertainty

Format Presentation and Word documents

Assessment Grading 5% is allocated for the 5-minute presentation (NOTE: 5 minutes


maximum), 5% is allocated for the concept map, and the remaining 10%
is allocated for the 500-word summary document.
Presentation and Summary Document

 Each group must submit the one-page Concept Map of the chapter.

 Summary Document is a 500-word essay (inclusive of reference and


footnotes) for each chapter that provides a comprehensive, coherent
and logical summary of the chapter. The summary must form the basis
of the presentation. It cannot be different from the presentation, but it is
not the presentation. (NOTE: Two chapters would mean 1,000 words;
500 words for each chapter).
 The presentation will be graded on the quality of the presentation skills
and concept map
