• Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was a


prolific and influential ,classical
composer. Baptized as Johannes
Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus
Mozart, he was born Salzburg, Austria.

• As a child prodigy, he could play the


harpsichord and violin at age 6, write
a minuet ,read music on sight, write
symphony when he was 11 years old,
and an oratorio and opera at 12, then
toured Europe and England for three
years with his father Leopold and his
sister Nanrel, both talented
musicians . He played for rich ,the
royalty and the public.

• Mozart’s Audiences loved his blond
and curls hair, his shrill voice, and his
polite ways. As a teenager, he
mastered the piano and completed the
first opera. “ La finta semplice” (The
Simple Prentense). Mozart played all

Salzburg, where he taught to make ens
meet. As a composer Mozart made a
very little money and wrote many
letters to publishers, friends, and even
acquaintances asking small loans.

during his short but very productive life.

of his famous pieces are “ Eine Kliene

1787) and the operas “ Le Nozze di Figari”
(The Marriage of Figaro1786), ”Don
Giovanni” (1787), “Die Zauberflote” (The
Magic Flute,1791) and his last work the
“Requiem Mass”
