Morality is doing The way to
good and avoiding Christ which
evil. leads to life.
What is Christian
Morality?
It is about following Jesus Christ as
His disciples, strengthened by the
Holy Spirit.
It is about living and doing what
makes us truly free and reflecting on
our human experiences in the light of
the life and teachings of Jesus.
ASPECTS OF CHRISTIAN MORALITY
HUMAN ACT
any sort of activity internal (mind) or external (hands)
performed by a human being with freedom
ACT OF MAN
it is man’s act of sensation (use of senses), and appetition
or use of bodily tendencies (such as sweating…) without
the use of freedom.
DETERMINE IF THE FOLLOWING ACT IS HUMAN ACT OR ACT OF MAN. Write H if it is a Human Act
and A if it is an act of man.

There are 3 classification of Human
Acts:
Moral
Immoral
Amoral
Moral Person
A MORAL PERSON is someone who has
Conscience and know right and wrong but
chooses the appropriate way rather than the
wrong path.
MORAL PERSON One who correctly judges
between right and wrong and conscientiously
acts on what is virtuous.
Amoral Person
An Amoral person who doesn't know right and
wrong because they might have mentality
problem or they have insufficient
learning(baby).
AMORAL PERSON IS Not concerned with
any standard; does not accept any concept of
right or wrong
Immoral Person
An Immoral person also has conscience which is
the knowing of right and wrong but instead of
choosing the right path they choose the wrong
path.
IMMORAL PERSON One who does not acts
according to the principle of what is right.
Different Philosophical Thought regarding
Morality
Hedonism – a philosophical way of life that is centered in
pleasure. What is pleasurable is good and what causes pain and
suffering is bad.
Humanism – is the philosophical belief where man relies in
himself alone as the creator of himself.
Existentialism – a philosophical thought that holds that we are
the one who creates our destiny relying on the power of will
and freedom.
Different Philosophical Thought regarding
Morality
Capitalism – is an economic principle that gives primacy to
capital (money), economy, and work. It disregard the right of man
and his obligation to others. Man is sees as the object of work and
not the subject of work.
Nihilism – is the philosophical belied that values are baseless.
Moral nihilism on the other hand believes that nothing is morally
right or wrong.
Utilitarianism – belief the an action can be morally right or wrong
based on its effect.
Jesus Christ is the Moral Norm
