Tips to ensure accurate submission
 All submissions to be made through the innovation awards website. Click here .

 Email entries/ Physical copies will not be accepted


 The presentation should not exceed 10 slides (excluding Title & Thank You slide).
Additional slides will be excluded during evaluation

 The presentation should be uploaded in PDF format (size not exceeding 5MB)
 Check off all criteria & explicitly mention what has been done to cater to each criterion.
(if there’s nothing relevant to mention against a criterion please mention it)

 Ensure hygiene checks -spelling, grammar and formatting


 Technical language & abbreviations should be simplified. Provide a glossary of industry
jargons like SCADA, Fintech, IoT, Blockchain etc

 Upload supporting documents (< 5 MB) & videos (<10 MB) in the respective windows.

 Please ensure all six summary questions on the entry page are answered

Evaluation Criteria

To qualify as an innovation, a project needs to score at least 60% of the total score assigned to
uniqueness (i.e. at least 24 out of maximum 40). This rule is applicable to all evaluation stages

Criterion Scoring
Uniqueness –What was the immediate problem that it solved during the 40
lockdown ( production, manpower, sales, finance, communication, etc.)

Impact/ Benefit –What is the long term impact? Will it discontinue after the 40
crisis or become a new way of working? What is the Scalability, Robustness &
Affordability for the future?

Hurdles or Challenges –faced by the innovators and what steps were taken 20
to overcome them?

Uniqueness

For this criteria, your slides should cover (but not be limited to) the points below

 What is the problem being addressed?


 Why is it important to solve this problem? What is the specific contribution you aim
to make through your innovation?

 What is the genesis of the idea? What inspired you to take the first step?
 Describe the solution- How & why is it an innovation?
 How did you innovate – Processes, Tools, etc.?
 Is the solution unique only to Mahindra or to the industry as well? How is this
problem being addressed in other companies? Compare the benefits of your
solution against the conventional solution.
